  1. Before visiting the ATM, make sure your Cash App Card is activated in Cash App and you have set a PIN for the Card

  3. Insert your Cash App Card at ATM and follow on-screen instructions
  4. Enter the PIN when prompted
  5. If it asks for Checking or Saving, you can select any of the two

There are 2 ways to withdraw money from Cash App Card for Free. One is getting the ATM fees completely reimbursed (subject to limits), if you have set up a direct deposit of $300 or more with Cash App, before such withdrawal. The other is by withdrawing money using the cash back option at a retail store rather than withdrawing money at the ATM.

Cash App Card ATM Fees Reimbursement

If you receive a pay-check direct deposit of $300 (or more) in your Cash App account, you will be eligible to get the ATM fees reimbursed from Cash App, including the ATM operator fees.

Post receipt of such direct deposit, Cash App will reimburse fees for up to 3 ATM withdrawals per 31 days, and up to $7 in fees per withdrawal.

Each month you receive further qualifying direct deposit, it will add another 31 days of ATM fee reimbursement. So you have to keep it ongoing to continue to receive the benefit.

For this, walk-in to any supported retail store which includes popular names like Walmart, Target, Walgreens, etc., buy any item you want, and tap on the cash back option when prompted you do the self-checkout at the Point of Sales machine, using your Cash App Debit Card

To withdraw money from Cash App at Walmart –

  • Find a supported retail store nearby
  • Visit the store and look for any small item to purchase
  • Next go to the self-checkout counter
  • Scan the product
  • Select debit card as payment method
  • Insert your Cash App card in the PoS
  • Select “Yes” when prompted for cash back
  • Next enter the amount you would like to get as cash back (should be within cash app withdrawal limit)
  • Next enter your Cash Card PIN
  • Complete the payment
  • Take the cash from the machine
  • Remove your card
