Available to Spend: This is the amount you have left to spend on your card, after deducting any purchases or transactions you have done with your Chime Credit Builder Card.

Each time you swipe your card, the amount from your “Available to Spend” will decrease immediately, so you can keep a track of the amount you can spend further on the card.

However, this does not mean that you have completed the payment for your existing spend and this is actually done only on the payment due date either automatically (if you have activated the Safe Credit Builder Option) or you can do it manually.

Available to spend amount is just an indicator of the amount you can further spend on your card considering the money you had originally put in your Secured amount and after deducting the card purchases or card withdrawals from it.

Balance: The total amount you’ve spent on your card since your last statement.

  1. How??? My credit builder account is not a “from“ account! If I click on “link accounts“, it only allows me to add a checking account from somewhere else. Why can’t I link to my credit builder account so that it becomes a “from“ account? The only From account I have is a third-party checking account from somewhere else. It’s not in my list of available accounts, and I can’t add it. Why not?
