Here is some guidance on how to use the above calculator to calculate Venmo instant transfer fees.

You should take into account the Venmo instant transfer fees, when entering this amount. The Venmo instant transfer fees will be deducted from the transfer amount and only net amount gets credited to your account.
You will be able to see the actual transfer amount (after deducting fees) in the third field. Keep in mind that the transfer amount should be within your Venmo Instant Transfer limits.
Venmo Instant Transfer Fees- This field auto-calculates the Venmo charges on the entered transfer amount. Venmo instant transfer fees is charged @1.75% of transfer amount. However, the minimum fees is $0.25 and fees cannot exceed $25 per transaction.

Important Update: Effective May 23, 2022, the Venmo instant transfer fees have been increased to 1.75% of transfer amount (Minimum Fees-$0.25, Maximum fees-$25) as compared to earlier rate of 1.5% of transfer amount which had a maximum cap of $15 per transaction.

Actual Transfer Amount – This is the net amount that will get transferred to your bank account after deducting the instant transfer fees.

You can instant transfer money from your Venmo account to a linked eligible U.S. bank account or Visa/Mastercard debit card. The transfer usually gets completed within 30 minutes.
Venmo charges fee equal to 1.75% of transfer amount which is auto- deducted from the transfer amount. However, this is subject to a minimum fee of $0.25 and fees are capped at $25.
How Much Can I Instant Transfer on Venmo
You can instant transfer up to a maximum amount of $2,999.99 in a single transaction. You may only make instant transfers of $0.26 or more.
If you need to transfer less than $0.25, you can use Venmo standard bank transfer option.
Venmo also has weekly limits to amount you can transfer to your bank account (including instant transfer + standard transfer)
- If you have NOT completed Venmo identity verification- $999.99 per week
- If you have completed Venmo identity verification- $19,999.99 per week
To complete identity verification, open Venmo app, tap on the “You” tab (the single person icon

How many Instant Transfers a day Venmo
Venmo doesn’t seem to mention any limit to a number of instant transfers per day.
However, it should be within limits to the transfer amount (Maximum $2999.99 per transaction) and weekly limits ($19999.99 per week if identity verification is completed)
How Much Does it Charge to Send $ 1,000 on Venmo
Venmo instant transfer fees for sending $1000 to your bank account is $17.50.
However, if you use standard transfer option, there are no fees charged irrespective of the amount. However, the standard transfer time can go up to 3 business days.
How to Transfer Money From Venmo without a Fee
You can transfer money for free from your Venmo to a linked bank account using standard transfer option. The standard transfer option works using ACH transfer and can take up to 3 business days for the funds to be credited to your bank account.
This requires to link a bank account in your Venmo account (does not work for a linked bank debit card)
Do keep in mind that it is 3 business days, so if you initiate the transfer on Friday or on weekend, it can take longer.
